This class uses yoga therapy techniques to bring awareness to parts of the body that need attention as we age, such as the joints, hips, and spine. Your breath will guide movement for slow, purposeful, and easeful postures both standing and sitting on the mat. Class will end with the deeply relaxing practice of Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep). Laying comfortably on your back, the teacher will guide you through the physical body with verbal cues helping you reach a state of meditative consciousness.
